001
Say Exactly About Your Idea
Being good is no longer enough. There are thousands of talented designers out there. Many of them are better than you in specific skills faster, more creative, more technically strong. Yet somehow, they don’t all get chosen.
Most designers sound like this:
“I do design.”
It’s vague.
It’s forgettable.
Now compare that to: “I design conversion-focused digital experiences for fintech products.”

002
Show How You Think
Most portfolios show results.
Few show reasoning. But clients don’t just want to see what you made.
They want to understand how you think.
Instead of just showing a UI, explain:
What problem you were solving
Why you made certain decisions
What impact it created
This is what builds trust.

003
Reliability
Clients are not searching for the “best” designer. They are searching for the right one. And that decision happens faster than most designers think. Within seconds, they subconsciously ask:
Do I understand what this person does?
Do I trust how they think?
Do I see proof that they can deliver results?
If any of these answers are unclear, they move on.
Not because you’re not good.
But because you’re not obvious.
